Delivered an end-to-end, cloud-native upgrade of the BSPN portal-building React/Redux screens, Spring Boot microservices, Redis caching,Azure AD SSO, and AWS-based DevOps pipelines to give insurance agents a faster, seamless experience.
Developed Responsive Web Features: Implemented new user-facing features on the BSPN portal using React.js and Redux, building an intuitive single-page application for insurance agents.
Built and Consumed Microservices: Developed backend Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs powering core BSPN functionalities like client info lookup, policy management, and commission tracking.
Optimized Performance with Caching: Improved page and report load times by implementing a caching layer for frequently requested data. Used Spring’s caching abstraction backed by Redis to store results of expensive operations
DevOps and Cloud Deployment: Gained hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. Containerized the Spring Boot services using Docker and deployed them on AWS (using Amazon ECS),set up automated build/test pipelines and implemented blue-green deployments for zero-downtime releases.
